The Melvin Sabshin, M.D., Library & Archives charges user fees to support the ongoing maintenance and preservation of our collections.
Conditions
The user agrees to the following conditions:
- Credit line: The credit line must read, "American Psychiatric Association Foundation, Melvin Sabshin, M.D., Library & Archives."
- Ownership: The Melvin Sabshin, M.D. Library & Archives does not claim exclusive ownership of the rights to all the images in our collection. We are granting permission to use images in our collection.
- Use fees: Use fees must be paid in full prior to the date of publication, broadcast, exhibition, etc. Fees will not be refunded.
*Please note APA Members are not charged for reference & research services.

- Regular service (per hour) – $80.00
- Rush Charge (72-hour turn around) – $120.00
Document Delivery
- Photocopies/Scans of Archive materials – $0.30 each
Photographic Scans
- High Resolution Scans (600 dpi) – $100.00 each
- Medium Resolution Scans (300 dpi) – $50.00 each
Audiovisual
- Sound Recordings – $75.00 per 60 seconds
- Film and Video – $50.00 per item
Shipping & Handling/Postage
- Sound Recordings – $75.00 per 60 seconds
- Film and Video – $50.00 per item
