Lecture Title: Education is a pillar of mental health for Hispanics
Dr. Castellanos has spent his career in academic medicine dedicated to the education and training of students, residents, and fellows in psychiatry. He is Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics and Founding Chair of the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at the Florida International University (FIU) Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Since 2015, Dr. Castellanos has also served as the College of Medicine’s Associate Program Director for the Citrus Health Network-FIU Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program Assistant Dean for Graduate Medicate Education.
