Lecture Title: Some Thoughts on the Current Status of the Schizophrenic Group of Illnesses: Treatment, Research and Social Aspects
Dr. Sarwer-Foner was an internationally known psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and one of the founding fathers of psychopharmacology. He was Professor of Psychiatry at Wayne State University Medical School, Director at the Lafayette Clinic in Detroit, and Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa Medical School. He was a Distinguished Life Fellow of the APA and received the Simon Bolivar Award in 1981.
