Lecture Title: The Shaky Foundations of Managed Care
Dr. Muñoz, born in the Republic of Colombia, earned his M.D. from the University of Cauca in 1963. He completed an internship in Medellin and residency training at Fairfield State Hospital (1964–65) and Washington University in St. Louis (1967–69). A Distinguished Life Fellow of the APA, Dr. Muñoz was also the first Hispanic President of the APA, serving from 1998-1999.
