Dr. Miskimen-Rivera earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 1990 and completed her internship and residency at Rutgers in 1994. A Distinguished Fellow of the APA, she has been active at regional and national levels, serving as Speaker of the Assembly (2017-2018) and is President-Elect (2025-26), becoming the 2nd Latina APA President.
La Dra. Miskimen-Rivera se licenció en medicina por la Universidad de Puerto Rico en 1990 y completó su internado y residencia en Rutgers en 1994. Miembro distinguido de la APA, ha participado activamente a nivel regional y nacional, ocupando el cargo de presidenta de la Asamblea (2017-2018) y es presidenta electa (2025-26), convirtiéndose en la segunda presidenta latina de la APA.
