Furloughed Patient

Patients in the hospital could be furloughed if a local citizen were willing to provide care for them. In addition, the citizen would be required to protect, restrain, and report to the hospital on a regular basis about the condition of the patient. At the end of the furlough period, the citizen was obligated to insure the return of the patient to the hospital.
