2001 George Tarjan Award Recipient
Lecture Title: Vision and Psychosis
Dr. Ahmad received his diploma in ophthalmology from the University of London and his medical degree from Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, West Pakistan. He is a strong advocate for IMGs, and continues to be a leader working on behalf of IMGs. Dr. Ahmad was the first chair of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) section for international medical graduates and has served in numerous other leadership positions within the MSMS. He was the recipient of the George Tarjan Award (2001).
