Dr. Juthani was born in India and received her medical degree from the University of Bombay (1964) and residency in the BronxCare Health System Program (1974-1978). She was a member of the Committee on IMGs as well as various committees of the Bronx District Branch of the APA. She is an APA Distinguished Life Fellow and recipient of the George Tarjan Award (1992).
