Lecture Title: Resiliency, Vulnerability, and Cultural Diversity: Lessons From Children Exposed to War Trauma
Dr. Husain was born in India and started his medical career at Dow Medical College in Karachi, India (1962), before training in London & New York City and finally relocating to McGill University in Montreal. Eventually, he was recruited to join the Psychiatry Department at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he represented both central Missouri and IMGs in the Assembly. He was an APA Life Member and recipient of the APA’s Bruno Lima Award (1996) and George Tarjan Award (1997).
