Dr. Weintraub received his medical education at the University of Geneva, Switzerland (1953) and residency at VA Hospital Perry Point (1956-57). He was a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a graduate of the Baltimore-district Columbia Psychoanalytic Institute. He held a multitude of roles during his long and distinguished career at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was a fellow of the APA and was the chair of the APA Committee on IMG (1998-1990).
