September 7, 2010, USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN at Sea

Seaman Verda Butler, quartermaster, from Independence, Ky., looks through an alidade to find the visual bearings of the distance objects near the ship and report the points. The Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
