The History of APA Hispanic Psychiatrists Exhibit
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, a six-month exhibit will debut in September, showcasing the rich history of APA's Hispanic psychiatrists. The exhibition will illuminate the origins of the APA Task Force on Mental Health of Spanish Speaking People in the U.S., founded in 1970, as well as the establishment of the Committee of Hispanic Psychiatrists in 1976. It will also highlight noteworthy Hispanic psychiatrists and past recipients of the Simon Bolivar Lecture.
