Grant Opportunities

 

MOORE Equity Community Grants Program

MOORE Equity Grants provide up to $10,000 to community organizations that have undertaken innovative awareness programs and/or have provided services to improve the mental health of young people of color.

Helping Hands Grants

Helping Hands Grants provide up to $5,000 to medical schools for mental health projects, particularly in under-served minority communities. Funded projects are created and managed by medical students.

The Awards for Advancing Minority Mental Health recognize community organizations that have undertaken innovative and supportive efforts to raise awareness in underserved minority communities about mental health conditions.

The O'Leary Award for Innovation in Psychiatry

The O'Leary Award for Innovation in Psychiatry award provides seed money to launch innovative ideas in the field of mental and behavioral health. The award is named for the late Dr. Paul J. O’Leary, M.D. Dr. O’Leary served as APA Assembly Speaker and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee.
