Dr. Wong was born in San Francisco, CA, and received his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine in 1959. He was the Asian Minority Representative to the Assembly of District Branches from 1979 to 1981 and Chairman of the APA Committee on Asian American Psychiatrists from 1980 to 1983. Dr. Wong is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the APA.
