Lecture Title: Transference Issues in Cross-Cultural Therapy
Dr. Arce was born in Puerto Rico and received his M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine (1946) and completed his residency at the Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic in New York City (1959-1962). Dr. Arce was an APA Life Fellow, President of the American Association of Psychiatric Administrators (1993-1995), recipient of the Simon Bolivar Award (1993), and recipient of APA’s Administrative Psychiatry Award (2000).
